Facebook now lets users comment with a video

Facebook will now allow users to add videos in their comments. The feature is being globally rolled out to all users on Android and ios platforms, as well as to Facebook's website. The process to add videos in the comment section is similar to adding photos. The camera icon at the end of the comment box shows a video icon, along with the photo upload button. It seems like Facebook is betting big in videos to take on the likes of You Tube.

The social media giant also launched a feature that allows users to upload photos with 360-degree views. Apart from photos taken using 360-degree cameras, panoramic photos taken through smart phone cameras can be converted to 360-degree views on the newsfeed as well.

In other related news, Facebook is now forcing its users to download its private photo-sharing 'Moments' app. It has began sending out warning messages to users that some photos of theirs will be deleted by July 7, if the app is not installed.
